US government shouldn’t fear foreign participation in Forge.gov

Adoption of open-source software in government agencies is gaining support, but the process is still frequently thwarted by bureaucracy and old-fashioned paranoia. Ryan Paul of Ars Technica describes the ongoing process to launch Forge.gov, a code sharing site that aims to help reduce IT costs by allowing different government agencies to share source code.
